A screen free way into the parables, for families who want Bible time to feel less like a lesson.

Each page pairs one of the teachings of Jesus with a word ladder: start at one word, change a single letter at a time, and arrive at another. The puzzle is small enough to solve together in a few minutes and just hard enough that solving it feels like something. Because the words come out of the story, working the ladder keeps everyone inside the parable rather than beside it.

It was made for the recurring problem of needing something reliable for family devotions, a Sunday school class, or a homeschool morning, that does not require preparation and does not need a screen.

This was the first Auctora Press title, published in July 2025. A larger family edition, Word Ladders Through the Parables, came later and adds a reflection and a prayer to every page.
