Accessibility

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.

What is in place

• Text and background colors meet or exceed a 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio, and most combinations exceed 7 to 1.
• Every interactive element has a visible focus outline.
• Headings run in order and are used for structure, not for size.
• The site works from the keyboard alone, including the navigation menu.
• Every cover image carries alt text naming the title and identifying it as a book cover.
• Motion is limited to color changes on hover, and is switched off for anyone who has asked their system to reduce motion.
• Text reflows to a single column on small screens with no horizontal scrolling.

Known gaps

The standard above is what this site is built to, not what an independent audit has certified. A full pass with assistive technology across every page has not been done. Interior sample pages are not published on the site yet, so their alt text has not been written or reviewed.

Reporting a barrier

If something on this site keeps you from reading a page or finding a book, please say so and it will be fixed. info@auctorapress.com
